UPSC IAS Exam 2018

Notification will be announced for the exam with the important information for the candidates. Likewise, the Union Public Service Commission had prepared a notification for the IAS exam. The notification for the civil series was out for the candidates in the month of February for this year 2018. It was good news for those candidates who all were waiting for the notification.  Candidates waited for the notification to try their luck and qualify for IAS. There was no waiting for those candidates who waited for applying for the exam. The authorities of UPSC had mentioned that the application will be taken from 7th February 2018. Awaiting candidates had submitted their application as soon as the application link was available.

Thousands and thousands of candidates from all over India will attempt the written test. Candidates started to give an application to the UPSC from 7th of February. Application link was made available on the official website. So, it was easy for the candidates to search the application form and submit it. Applications were to be submitted before the closing date. Closing date for the year 2018 was mentioned in the notification was 6th of March 2018. Applications submitted before the closing date were only eligible to get their admit card.

Admit cards are to be given for the candidates who all had submitted their application. As soon as the closing date, the applications were stopped taking by the board. Admit cards are started for processing to allow a center for each candidate. Admit cards give the information of center of examination. Admit cards are to be given for the applied candidates before the day of examination. Authorities of UPSC had completed the generation of admit cards. All the admit cards are updated on the official website www.upsc.gov.in on 7th of May 2018. It will be easier for the candidates to download their admit cards very easily. Admit Cards were downloaded by all the candidates after they are updated on the website. The Prelims exam was scheduled on 3rd of June 2018. Candidates qualified in the Prelims exam are only eligible to attend for the exam for Mains 2018. Mains exam for IAS 2018 will be conducted on 28th of September 2018. Results of the Prelims exam are to be released now. They are estimated to be released in the July month of 2018. After the UPSC IAS Results 2018, the merit list of prelims will be announced. How to Check UPSC IAS Results 2018 ?

Once the results are updated on the official website, you can follow the below steps to check your results for Prelims exam of UPSC IAS 2018.

1. Official link of the website is to be visited first. Use www.upsc.gov.in for going to the home page of the UPSC.

2. You can find a Result tab on the home page. Click on that tab.

3. You need to select the notification “UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam Result 2018” from the update panel over there.

4. In the next step, provide the asked details on the page. You need to provide details such as Name, Roll Number and Date of Birth.

5. Then, click on the submit button over there.

6. Your result for Prelims Exam of UPSC IAS will be displayed for you. Take a hard copy of it.
